Arisaka Type 38 Serial Number Lookup

Finding nemo full movie youtube. I just got a Type 38 rifle this past weekend. Can anyone tell me what 'series', if any, that this rifle is? What do I need to look at to see if this rifle is matching/desireable?
7.7 Arisaka Serial Numbers
Can someone list the parts/markings I should look for? I intially thought this was a 'no series' Type 38 because it does not have a 'series' mark preceding the serial number. However, there could be a number one.
